簡介 Overview
KGI 凱基證券於 1988 年正式成立，公司秉持正派經營、誠信
至上之理念，初期以證券經紀、自營及承銷業務為主，逐步發
展成一家提供多樣化服務的綜合券商。時至今日，除了國內轉
投資子公司的設立外，經營版圖已拓展到香港、泰國及新加坡
等市場；在業務種類方面，亦從傳統證券相關業務擴大至債券
業務及各類衍生性商品開發，包括利率衍生性商品、信用衍生
性商品、股權衍生性商品及各種結構型商品。 KGI 凱基證券成
立初期在資本額新台幣 10 億元的規模下不斷努力並積極尋找擴
張經營規模的最佳機會，2009 年辦理現金增資發行新股 6.7 億
股參與發行海外存託憑證外，並以 12 月 19 日為基準日順利完
成與台証綜合證券的合併。截至 2010 年底 KGI 凱基證券資本
額提升為新台幣 320.7 億元，公司淨值亦進一步提升至新台幣
485 億元，市場同業排名第二，營運據點數則擴增至亞太區共
109 個據點。歷經 20 年的蛻變成長，KGI 凱基證券將持續秉持
相同之經營理念，期許成為頂尖的區域型投資銀行。
Established in 1988, KGI Securities prides itself on its core
operating principles of integrity and honesty. The Company
started out with a focus on stock brokerage, proprietary
equity trading and underwriting, and has since grown into a
house that offers a multitude of services. KGI Securities has
expanded its businesses into the Asia-Pacific, Hong Kong,
Thailand and Singapore markets. In terms of products, KGI
Securities has added to its long-standing stock brokerage
business the trading of bonds and various derivatives products,
including interest rate derivatives, credit derivatives and equity
derivatives. It also offers services in other kinds of structured
products. Starting out with initial market capitalization of
NT$1bn and just one branch in Taiwan, KGI Securities has
actively looked for best opportunities to expend its operation
scale. In 2009, KGI completed a major capital injection
through the issuance of GDRs and merged with Taishin
Securities on December 19. After the capital injection and
merger, KGI Securities' capital size increased to NT$32.07bn
and NAV increased to NT$48.5bn as of December 31, 2010.
Currently KGI securities has 109 operation sites in Asia-Pacific
Region and is now the second largest securities company in
Taiwan. KGI Securities will continue to work toward becoming
the best investment bank in the Asia-Pacific region.
