the program still must rationally allocate resources, provide
comprehensive medical services and maintain the public’s
health. To meet these goals, the NHIAwill continue to make
every effort to roll out new measures that provide even better
health care services and break the vicious cycle of “bad
health leading to poverty and poverty leading to bad health,”
while also further improving administrative efficiency and
strengthening the rational application of health insurance
resources. Initiatives will also be taken to meet the challenges
of the new “network society” and the public’s demands,
including strengthening communications and taking into
account opinions from all walks of life. The NHIA pledges
to continue working hard to safeguard the health of Taiwan’s
people and strengthen the country’s comprehensive network of
health care services.
資源、提供周全的醫療服務以持續維護民眾
的健康。健保署將持續鞭策自我，努力不
懈推出有利於民的措施，提供國民更完善
的健康照護服務，打破因病而貧、因貧而
病的不幸循環，並進而提升行政服務效率，
強化健保資源的合理運用；此外，面對新
型態環境的挑戰及民眾的需求，加強與各
界溝通，為守護臺灣民眾的健康持續努力，
強化我國健康服務全方位的照護網絡。
